Juicy Bunless Burger

Juicy Bunless Burger

A juicy, angus burger, topped with Colby Jack Cheese, Crispy Turkey Bacon, Grilled Onions and Jalapeños, Pickles, Tomatoes wrapped in Lettuce

1 pound ground beef 85%/ 15%(I used angus)

Green Leaf Lettuce, (I used prewashed)

1 large onion

1 large jalapeño

8 slices bacon, (I used turkey)

1 TBSP Steak Seasoning, ( I used Kinders Steak Blend)

1 TBSP Worcestershire Sauce

Salt and Pepper to taste

Oil the pan for the burgers with just enough oil so the burgers don’t stick initially.

Oil large pan for Onions, Jalapeños and Bacon

Divide ground beef in fourths and form into patties.

Sprinkle patties with Steak seasoning, Worcestershire sauce and salt and pepper

Let sit for about 15 minutes

Start with the pan for the bacon , onions and jalapeños

Cook the bacon until is crispy. Drain on a paper towel.

Add your onions and jalapeños to the same pan. Cook onions on both sides until caramelized. Add jalapeños and cook on both sides. Take both out, set aside.

Add burger patties to the pan and flip only once. Cook to taste. I like mine medium well.

Add Colby Jack Cheese to the top.

Take them out and set aside

Assemble Burger:

Green leaf lettuce

Burger patty

Bacon

Jalapeños

Grilled onions

You can add tomatoes, pickles, mayo etc.

You can also chopped everything up and make a “burger salad”

Enjoy!
